General: Marathon butt wiggling (dancing), being paid to kick people in the head (martial arts), smearing pesto on everything (cooking), and (long monotonous walks, swimming in pollen)hiking. Looking for spice for my spice cakes.
Music I listen to: Cool like Folk on Yahoo messenger a bunch. Radiohead, Sisters of Mercy, Rush, They Might Be Giants, David Bowie, Frou Frou, The New Pornographers, Nine Inch Nails, The Decemberists and The Darkness, The Sundays, Trash Can Sinatras, and The Tragically Hip are all favs. I've been known to dance to eighties, goth, and disco.
Movies: Foreign films... the stories suit my sense of reality.
Television: Sorry, I can't live like that.
Books: The Decameron by Giovanni Boccaccio (1313-1375). ... just imagine.. instead of waiting for the painful death from The Plague, running off with 9 friends and living life to the fullest... story-telling about the decadence in 14th century Italy to pass the evenings.
